How to fix a Crease in your Vehicle

Featured Image

We have all experienced having a small dent or two on our car. But imagine getting off from a long day of work, walking out to the parking lot and finding a 26” crease on your car. It is on the left quarter panel so you couldn’t miss it even if you wanted to. The first thing you do is look around to see who is responsible and how could this have happened. But of course there are no other cars in sight. Your next thought is, “how much is this going to cost me to get it fixed?”

You take it to the body shop and their estimate is upwards of $1,000.00, which would include painting, bondo, or replacing the quarter panel all together! Who has time and money to do all of this? You contact your insurance company to see what options you have and realize it isn’t worth paying a deductible.

That is where we come in! This repair would only take us about 7 hours to complete, but keep in mind the technician is massaging and pushing out this long shallow dent inch by inch.

Some of the tools used in this repair:

  • Ultra Dent Tools SHT5
  • Ultra Dent Tools ST1207
  • DD Everyday Tip
  • DD Slapper Tapper
  • Heat Gun
  • Cactus Green Glue
  • Black Plague Crease Tab
  • ProPdr 46” Chubby HD Light

.

Your appointment for repair is now scheduled and you drop it off at the shop. You wait anxiously to see the results. When you come back to pick it up you stand there stunned and run your hand over the quarter panel where the dent once was. You stand in amazement because it looks brand new, what a sigh of relief! Not only is the dent gone, but the repair didn’t leave a “dent” in your pockets! Hopefully this doesn’t happen again, but if it does, you know the guys to call.
